About Kids Company

Kids Company operates through two street level centres and a therapy house in South London, as well as a drop-in provision in Camden, North London. We also offer therapeutic and social work services in over 30 schools.

We are advanced in our service delivery, employing a widely skilled team of professionals working at street level. Unlike traditional approaches, we create a unique, ‘wraparound’ model of care for each child, so that all of their issues are addressed by one team in one place, without the need for referrals or waiting periods.

Our unique multidisciplinary approach combines health, housing, emotional wellbeing, mental health, arts, sports, youth justice, education and employment. These interventions are designed to strengthen, supplement or substitute the child’s parenting experience.

Our aim is to first stabilize each young person by meeting their practical needs, before helping them to address emotional and behavioural difficulties. Once the young person has achieved some sense of stability and calm, we help them to identify talents and interests and so develop aspirations for the future.

This is a truly rare opportunity to win a British icon, a Mini Thirty Special Edition. There are only three of these in existence and this is a head turning show stopper!

In celebration of the Mini’s 30th anniversary in 1989, the British Automotive Co., decided to create the ultimate Mini. The result was the M-30. The original asking price of the BAC M-30 was a staggering £30,000. This one was owned by Bernie Ecclestone himself!

The BAC M-30 is a Mini Thirty Special Edition. The interior is luxuriously trimmed - all leather and walnut veneer, while the exterior 'improved' by the addition of a KAT Designs bodykit.

This Mini has:
- Engine No. ABR26090
- Production No. 2

Finished in Dark Green Metallic Pearl this was treated to the full M-30 body conversion, which included prominent wheel arches and a modified front bumper. The exterior colour was co-ordinated with the lamp bezels, door handles and grille surround, eliminating all the exterior brightwork with the exception of the large hallmarked M-30 solid silver badge and the rims of the 6x13 alloy wheels.

The front seats are by Recaro and feature electric adjustment and heating. The car has BAC’s own instrument binnacle, crash pad and centre console, as well as VDO 8 dial instrumentation, warning lights, and switches. Adding a touch of class, burl elm was used extensively, whilst power windows, an Alpine stereo system, and remote keyless entry with alarm controls finish off the option list of this beautifully appointed Mini.

The M-30 was originally fitted with a 1.3-litre supercharged engine, which was relatively recently replaced by a 1,380cc engine built by Ian Hargreaves from Avon Baugh Mini Tuners. Accordingly, a performance clutch, a stainless steel exhaust system, and a suspension system featuring adjustable height and damping, provide the driving experience one would expect of such a sporty looking Mini.

Specifications:
- Est. 115hp, 1,380cc modified MG engine to Avonbar ZX specification
- 44mm SU carburettorfour
- speed manual transmission
- semi-adjustable suspension
- front disc and rear drum brakes
- wheelbase: 80.3in (2,040mm).

Won as seen, it's in great shape for a classic car!

The winner will can collect the car at the Kidscompany office in London. A suitable time will be arranged.

Good luck.
